Romeoville Epoxy Flooring is an epoxy flooring contractor based in Romeoville, IL, with more than 20 years spent preparing and coating concrete. We install garage floors, basement coatings, polished concrete and commercial systems for homeowners, business owners and facility managers across Romeoville and the surrounding towns.
What we have learned over those years is simple: a floor coating is only as good as the slab underneath it and the honesty of the person who quotes it. Most of the floor failures we are called to look at started with shortcuts in preparation or promises that ignored what the concrete was doing.
Our Approach

Every slab we coat is opened mechanically with a diamond grinder or shot blaster; we never acid etch. Moisture testing is its own line in the scope, whether the floor is a garage, a basement or a warehouse. We read the cracks, joints and old coatings before quoting, and when a slab needs repair or replacement before it can be coated, we say so plainly.
Our proposals name the product, the system build and the finished thickness, so you can check what went down against what was quoted. We read the warranty exclusions out loud before anything is sold, starting with moisture. Home jobs get a written contract and the state’s consumer-rights pamphlet before work starts, as the Illinois Home Repair and Remodeling Act requires.
We schedule curing by slab temperature and dew point rather than by the calendar, which sometimes means telling a homeowner that an unheated garage has to wait for spring. We do not sell floor coatings as waterproofing or radon reduction. Because Illinois issues no state flooring license, we confirm each village’s registration, bond and insurance rules before scheduling.
Commercial floors are planned around the hours a building has to keep running, including overnight and weekend windows. Grinding dust is collected at the machine rather than swept outside or washed toward a drain, which keeps occupied homes and working buildings clean while we are there.
What We Do
Our work covers epoxy garage floors, flake and metallic epoxy finishes, polyaspartic floor coatings, basement floor epoxy, polished concrete, concrete grinding and concrete floor repair, along with commercial epoxy flooring, commercial kitchen flooring, warehouse floor coatings and ESD flooring.
